A last minute strike from Brendan Ogbu gave Heartland a hard fought 2-1 victory over Lobi Stars in the Federation Cup final at the Teslim Balogun Stadium on Sunday, ensuring that the Owerri side successfully defended the title they won last year at the same venue.
Lobi Stars, the 2003 champions, had started strongly, taking the lead within five munites of the first half through a header from Ezekiel Bassey, but the Naze Millionaires drew level in the same half through left footed midfielder Jolly Osas.

While the hird placed match was won by Prime fc of Osogbo defeating Pillars 3-1 via penalties after full time score stood at 1-1.
